集集武昌宮主神供奉"北極玄天上帝",民國88年9月21日凌晨發生芮氏7.3級的集集大地震,本鎮位於震央,宮廟整座到塌,幸賴委員們英雄表現,尚在餘震中將神像搶救出,倖免9月26日早上8點6.8級的二次傷害.之後''上帝公''顯化神蹟鬍鬚日漸長長,已延伸至案桌上約30公分.
